Golden Globe Nominated Film "THE COLOR PURPLE" Arrives in PH Cinemas on January 24, 2024

A bold new take on the beloved classic. “The Color Purple,” based on the 1982 novel by Alice Walker, stars an ensemble cast that includes Taraji P. Henson, H.E.R., Halle Bailey and Fantasia Barrino, in her film debut.  Directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones. “The Color Purple” is a story about the extraordinary sisterhood of three women who share one unbreakable bond. The film opens in Philippine cinemas this month on January 24, 2024. 

The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.
