'TRIANGLE OF SADNESS' Arrives in Philippine Cinemas on November 30, 2022

The Cannes Film Festival Palme D'Or winner TRIANGLE OF SADNESS gets an official Philippine release date as confirmed by its exclusive local distributor, TBA Studios, very recently. The film directed by the Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund, is a dark comedy starring Woody Harrelson, Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean Kriek, Vicki Berlin, Zlatko Burić, and our very own Dolly de Leon is arriving in local shores on November 30, 2022 (Wednesday).

Set in the world of fashion, "Triangle of Sadness" follows fashion model couple Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean) as they embark on a luxury cruise adventure. All appears Instagrammable at first but a storm is brewing, and heavy seasickness hits the passengers during the seven-course captain’s dinner. The cruise ends catastrophically and they become stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a cleaning lady (Dolly de Leon). In the fight for survival, old hierarchies are turned upside down since the cleaning lady is the only one who knows how to fish.

The film recently lost one of its main cast as the South African actress Charlbi Dean suddenly died from an unexpected illness late August.
