Sometimes you just want to watch a movie just to have fun and "Jackass Forever" is the quintessential film to make you laugh out loud and take the buzz off reality. It's pretty easy to sum up that we enjoyed "Jackass Forever" - a lot. The stakes have never been crazier, deadlier, and funnier. If this was the last film starring the original crew then this was the best send-off for them in our opinion.
Back together again, the original Jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, absurd, and death-defying comedic with additional help from an exciting new cast - including a woman for the first time in the series.
If you've never really gotten the charm of "Jackass" (and shows and films of the same ilk) then you won't enjoy "Jackass Forever" like we did. And its certainly not for the faint of heart as the film rapidly descends to extremely crazy and deadly stunts and unabashed nudity with one particular scene giving Johnny Knoxville a serious case of concussion. At this point, its pretty clear that this is probably one of the last few instances that we will see the original cast doing these kind of stunts but if they're setting up a new generation to continue the franchise then they did a damn good job at it. In fact, beyond Knoxville, Steve-O and Wee Man, our next favorite characters were Zach Holmes and Sean McInerney. We won't really spoil the scenes here but most of them were awesome. Not all landed but the majority were solid and had us laughing out loud out of shock, awe, and sometimes disgust. Overall, it's pretty awesome to see that this format still works even after almost a decade of absence. Here's hoping that this won't be the last.
