K-Pop Reality Show GIRLS PLANET 999 Launches on iQiyi International starting August 6, 2021

Girls Planet 999, an original Korean reality show produced by CJ ENM and presented by iQiyi will have its global premiere on the platform on August 6, 2021 (7:20PM PST). The show is a competition that features an exciting lineup of masters and host include Sunmi from Wonder Girls and Tiffany from Girls' Generation as K-pop masters, and actor Yeo Jin-goo as host. This groundbreaking team will select and train a new global girl group with aspiring contestants from China, Korea, and Japan. Are we all witness the birth of new global pop icons?

Girls Planet 999 received over 10,000 submissions from China, Korea, and Japan, and trimmed this down to the 100 contestants. The official theme song for Girls Planet 999 is O.O.O. (Over & Over & Over) which you can view below:

 

Viewers can watch Girls Planet 999 every Friday at 7:20pm on iQiyi International app and IQ.com. With English subtitles available, fans can cheer for their favorite contestants all at the same time.
