WATCH: MONSTER HUNTER Video Game Creators React to Movie Adaptation Monsters

In bringing "Monster Hunter" from video game to the big screen, writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson sat down multiple times with the game creators specifically, Ryozo Tsujimoto and Kaname Fujioka, to dial in the look of the monsters. In the recently released video, the creators share their excitement upon seeing how Anderson remained faithful to the monsters’ original look - if not making them even more menacing in the big screen. If you didn't know, the film is based on the global video game series phenomenon of the same name. "Monster Hunter" stars Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman, Jin Au-Yeung and Ron Perlman. Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower.
