WATCH: Filipino Remake of MIRACLE IN CELL NO. 7 Teaser Trailer Released

The teaser trailer of the Filipino remake of the South Korean drama film "Miracle in Cell No. 7" has just been released by Viva Films. The film is one of the entries in the 2019 edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and will have premiere on Christmas Day. Same as in the 2013 film, the story revolves around a mentally challenged man who is wrongfully suspected and imprisoned for murder. The man builds friendships with hardened criminals who help him reunite with his daughter. The film stars Aga Muhlach and Xia Vigor in the lead roles while Joel Torre, JC Santos, Mon Confiado, Jojit Lorenzo, Soliman Cruz, Joel Torre, Bela Padilla, and Tirso Cruz III round out the supporting cast.
