One king to rule them all. The final trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Godzilla II: King of the Monsters” goes full tilt in presenting the epic and surely massive action sequences audiences will get to experience when it comes out on May 30, 2019. Accompanying the huge action scenes is a haunting instrumental version of the classic tune, “Over the Rainbow.” The film is the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse. The film follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species rise, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance. The film stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi.
