Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell of the Hit Series YOU Are Coming to Manila on January 14-15, 2019

Fans of the new Netflix hit "YOU" will have a great start to their 2019 as Netflix is bringing the stars of the show Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell to Manila to further promote their show and to interact with their avid Filipino fans. Penn and Shay are scheduled to a two-day tour in Manila with the first day, January 14, reserved for media while a special fan event on January 15 wherein fans can experience Mooney’s Bookstore, win swag and get a chance to see Penn and Shay. The event starts at 6pm at The Greenbelt Gallery, 2nd level, Greenbelt 5.

"YOU" centers around Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a long-time manager at a boutique bookstore, Mooney’s, where he meets and falls in love with Beck (Elizabeth Lail). His obsessive love for Beck comes with a few challenges, one of them is Beck’s best friend, Peach Salinger (Shay Mitchell). Peach is the heir to the JD Salinger family. Joe eventually uses the internet and social media as his tools to gather the most intimate of details and get close to Beck. A charming and awkward crush quickly becomes an obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle – and person – in his way. The show is based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name. "YOU" Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix. Season 2 has been picked up as a Netflix Original.
