Mikhail Red's critically-acclaimed film "Birdshot" is now available on Netflix starting today. The film has garnered praise since its release back in 2016 notably getting picked as the country's Best Foreign Language entry in the 90th Academy Awards. The film has been featured in countless international film festivals while it has been shown locally in limited releases during the 2017 edition of Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino and the 13th edition of Cinemalaya. Personally, we have never seen the film yet which makes us pretty stoked right now. Hopefully, more local films follow suit very soon.
