WATCH: GOYO: ANG BATANG HENERAL Releases First Teaser Trailer

It's the moment you've been waiting for, "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral", has finally released its first teaser trailer a couple of days back. The 40-second clip features a sword, a soldier walking with his back towards the audience who picks it up, and finally turning around to unveil him to be Gregorio del Pilar being portrayed by Paulo Avelino. The film will expand the character based on the events featured in "Heneral Luna" and we all expect it to be one of the most anticipated releases next year coming off the success and hype of the first film. Returning cast members are Epy Quizon as Apolinario Mabini, Alvin Anson as Heneral Jose Alejandrino, Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, Arron Villaflor as Joven Villaflor, and Carlo Aquino. "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" features one of the youngest Generals during the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine-American War and is best known for his last stand at the Battle of Tirad Pass. The film is slated for a 2018 release date.
