WATCH: CITIZEN JAKE Teaser Marks Return of Mike de Leon, Acting Debut of Atom Araullo

You could say that "Citizen Jake" is setting the bar high. The film will feature Atom Araullo, the well-known and well-loved newscaster, in his acting debut while the film also marks the return of one of the country's acclaimed directors, Mike de Leon. The 30-second teaser (which you can view below) features our lead character Jake Herrera (Atom Araullo) narrating and looking back into the events that happened just a few months ago - during the election period. Also included is a tense moment between Jake and his brother who is a congressman.

Director Mike de Leon is a legend. His last work was 17 years ago with "Bayaning 3rd World" in the year 2000. The film also stars Luis Alandy, Gabby Eigenmann, Lou Veloso, Nonie Buencamino, Victor Neri, Cherie Gil, Max Collins and Dina Bonnevie.
