WATCH: 27 Year Old Sequel of FLATLINERS Releases First Official Trailer and Its to Die For

Columbia Pictures has just released the first official trailer of its decades old sequel to the suspense thriller "Flatliners". The sequel will have the same title as its predecessor and will star Ellen Page, Nina Dobrev, Diego Luna, James Norton and Kiefer Sutherland who reprises his role from the original film. The trailer focuses on the premise of the film in which the characters experiment on dying or flatlining for a few minutes and them gaining powers. Soon though, their experiments bring something back that threaten their very lives. The trailer is riveting, compelling and had us creeped out especially with its soundtrack. In the film, five medical students embark on a daring and dangerous experiment to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life. The bold adventure begins when they trigger near-death experiences by stopping their hearts for short periods of time. As their trials become more perilous, each must confront the sins from their past while facing the paranormal consequences of journeying to the other side.

"Flatliners" is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International with no official release date for the Philippines yet.
