WATCH: Stephen King's IT Unleashes First Official Trailer and It's Damn Terrifying

New Line Cinema has unleashed the official trailer for the horror thriller “IT”. The film is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name which has been terrifying readers for decades especially with its lead villain, the eponymous being, who likes to take the form of a clown named Pennywise. Well, if we could judge the film on its trailer alone, let's just say, that this has huge potential to be extremely terrifying and successful. View the trailer below:

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. Directed by Andrés Muschietti of "Mama" fame, “IT” stars Bill Skarsgård as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors stars in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Nicholas Hamilton.

A presentation of New Line Cinema, “IT” will be released worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Entertainment Company and watch “IT” in Philippine cinemas on September 7, 2017.
