The first-ever trailer for the movie adaptation of the popular arcade racing game series, Need for Speed has just been outed. The 90 second trailer features a montage of car chases while the lead actor speaking out a monologue about doing some serious redemption. The film will star Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul as Tobey Marshall, a street racer who was framed and sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit. After serving his sentence, he is out for revenge not only to those who tricked him but to those who also did harm to his longtime partner. Sadly, this sounds generic as they get and given the history of movie tie-ins with video games, this is certainly a slight step back. Let's hope that EA and Dreamworks work something magical come March 14, 2014 when the movie actually comes out.
