“John Carter” is a sweeping action adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom or Mars to us Earthlings. The film is Based on the classic sci-fi novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs who wrote Tarzan. "John Carter" tells the story of John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes embroiled in a conflict amongst the inhabitants of the planet including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, John finds that the survival of Barsoom and its people actually rests in his hands.
"John Carter" opens sometime in 2012 and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

This looks promising! I loved the John Carter book series.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, you need to do something about the ads that play on your site. It's difficult to watch a trailer when the ad videos start up on their own and play, complete with sound that unmutes when the ad begins again. For now, I click the YouTube link and watch the trailers there.
