Inspired by true events, “The Rite” follows skeptical seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O’Donoghue) who reluctantly attends exorcism school at the Vatican. While in Rome, he meets an unorthodox priest named Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins) who introduces him to the darker side of his faith. "The Rite" is directed by Mikael Håfström. “The Rite” is a supernatural thriller that tries to show how the Devil's evil can even reach one of the holiest places on Earth. The film stars Oscar® winner Anthony Hopkins and Colin O’Donoghue. Alice Braga, Ciarán Hinds, Toby Jones and Rutger Hauer complete the supporting cast. Even though Anthony Hopkins do romantic movies, you can still look at him as the menacing type. That's why he's such a believable character whenever he does thriller movies.
