"Skyline" lacks major stars and we heard that it was actually made in one of the directors' garage. Low-budget as it may seem, we still think the trailer rocks. Will this be the 21st Century "Independence Day"? Catch the synopsis and trailer after the jump.
"After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them."
The synopsis sounds a little way to close to "War of the Worlds" starring Tom Cruise and boy did that film end in a good way! In any case, "Skyline" will be shown on American shores starting November 12,2010. Hopefully, someone locally grabs this one up - if "Tekken" did it why not this?

To me this movie was a complete surprise. After reading so many negative responses I still decided to watch this movie and found it an awesome movie. Though many people don't have the same positive opinion as of me I liked this movie.
